Join the Redding Land Trust for a hike exploring the McCormack Preserve on Saturday, April 24 at 10:00 am. Members of the Redding Land Trust Board will be on hand to lead socially-distanced hikes of varied levels of difficulty. Families are encouraged to attend. Heavy rain will postpone the hike to Sunday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. There is ample parking at the corner of Picketts Ridge Road and George Hull Hill Road.
In 2019, the McCormack family donated 238 Acres to the Redding Land Trust to form the Colonel Alfred P. McCormack Conservation Preserve. Since then, members of the Redding Land Trust board and the Redding Trail Tenders have been clearing and marking a series of trails throughout the property.
The property is open to all from February 15-October 1 each year until February 2024, when it will be open year round. Come explore the beautiful vistas and varied terrain. Sturdy footwear encouraged.
We hope to see you then.
