Redding Land Trust and Redding Beer Co. have teamed up to create a locally brewed ale infused with spruce tips. On a sunny Saturday last month RLT and RBC gathered with Bill Hill at Warrup's Farm to harvest the spruce, and Dave and Jim created this delicious, refreshing brew.
And best of all, RBC has pledged to share a portion of the proceeds with the Redding Land Trust. Join us this Saturday at Redding Beer Co., 7 Main Street, Georgetown, from 4-6 to celebrate this local partnership — and enjoy the perfect springtime beer!
About Spruced Up Ale:
SPRUCED UP ALE – This Spruce Ale is a citrus, fruity, toasty beer with a unique spruce tip “sparkle”. Made with over five pounds of late spring harvested spruce tips that add a light outdoor aroma, a sand colored creamy head with a full bodied crusty malt flavor, and a bright bitter finish.
