Redding Land Use Celebration 

Friends and Fellow Land Use Champions,

We cordially invite you to join us on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 3:00 pm for a gathering of nonprofit land use leaders and stakeholders to socialize, network and engage in informal discussion of our shared goals. We’d like to use this time to establish and re-establish connections, get to know one another, share organizational priorities, strengthen a culture of collaboration, and identify opportunities to work with each other on common interests.

The event, being hosted in an engaging venue at the beautiful Maple Hill Farm in Redding, CT, will be primarily social with no formal presentations. We would, however, like you to come prepared to share one or two key priorities or projects that you think others might have an interest in. You are more than welcome to come with any materials or handouts related to your organization and its programs and plans. For example, we plan on sharing with attendees our recently-developed strategic plan for the Redding Land Trust “Decade of Stewardship.” The event will unfold as follows:

3:00 - 3:15 - Arrival and Welcome

3:15 – 4:00 - Introductions and Sharing our Priorities “In the Round” each organization is invited to introduce itself and share one or two of its top priorities or programs that would be of interest to the other participants. No formal presentations, simply talking points and handouts, if desired.

4:00 - 5:30 Networking and Social Hour - Mix and mingle, socialize, share and ideate! Eat, drink and be merry! Delicious food and beverages will be provided.

5:30-6:00 Share-back “In the Round” - In closing everyone will be asked to “share back” one thought, idea or inspiration from the afternoon that the group might like to further explore
