12/26 and 1/1 Hikes Cancelled

Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the area, the Board of the Redding Land Trust has decided to cancel the remaining hikes for this holiday season. We encourage you to explore these beautiful spaces on your own.

Turkey Waddle: November 26 Plishner Preserve

Meet at the Putnam Park visitors center lot. We will hike through the Joan Plishner Wildlife Preserve, a well kept Redding Secret.

Boxing Day Hike: December 26: Stephenson Preserve

Meet at the parking lot across from 73 Putnam Park Road - just into Bethel. This is a lovely 2-mile hike past a pond and through the woods.

New Year’s Day Hike: January 1 - Rock Lot/Scott Preserve

We’ll start the walk on the Town of Redding’s Rock Lot and explore into the Scott Preserve. Park along Mine Hill Road off 70 Acres Road. The trailhead is across the street.
